Step 1: General Information

Thank you for your interest in starting an ISI Society! We will notify you of our decision once your Society application is complete.

Please list the names of at least three other initial society members (required). A faculty advisor is strongly encouraged, but not necessary.

Step 2: Society Proposal

The mission of the Intercollegiate Studies Institute (ISI) is “To inspire college students to discover, embrace, and advance the principles and virtues that make America free and prosperous.” Please keep this mission in mind as you answer the following questions. Each answer must be between 150 – 250 words.

Why do you want to have an ISI Society on your campus?
Why do you want to lead this ISI Society? What unique skills do you have to offer in holding this leadership position?
Please answer one of the following questions: 1. If you are starting a new group, what does your group plan to do this coming year? 2. If your group is a non-ISI group seeking ISI affiliation, please describe the past achievements of your group in detail. What does your group plan to do this coming year? 3. If your group is a current ISI Society seeking continued support, please describe the past achievements of your ISI Society in detail. What does your group plan to do this coming year?
Step 3: Budget Proposal

This section is for you to explain to ISI what you would like to accomplish on your campus for the 2016-2017 academic year. Be specific in your descriptions and we suggest that you review the sample Budget Proposal before completing your own.

Please note that within the Event Details section you must include all applicable information such as the specific speaker, proposed date(s), event topic, or book title.
