Steven K. Green

Professor of Law, Willamette University

Dr. Green is professor of law at Willamette University. He is co-author of Religious Freedom and the Courts (Baylor University Press, 2008) and co-editor of Toward Benevolent Neutrality: Church, State, and the Supreme Court, 6th ed (Baylor University Press, 2007). Dr. Green previously served as general counsel and director of policy for Americans United for Separation of Church and State. He has participated in several cases before the U.S. Supreme Court involving public religious displays and public funding religious institutions. Dr. Green is a widely sought speaker and prolific writer, having contributed to the Encyclopedia of American Civil Liberties and the Yale Biographical Dictionary of American Law.
